Nice reproduction of an antique! All solid brass and heavy marble looking base. The arm adjust is quite stiff. It will tip over if the adjustment is made too far off balance, but as you can see in the pictures It still extends over a working surface quite well. The magnifying glass does pivot by unscrewing it slightly from the rod.
