Such a neat reproduction antique fire helmet. This wonderful helmet was cast from an antique and made to actually look old via slight distressing. Notice the bottom has a slot for opening bottle caps.
The pieces are inspired by early to mid-20th century advertising novelties and barware, roughly 1930s–1960s, when breweries, soda brands, and service stations often used practical cast metal items as promotional pieces for bars, garages, firehouses, and retail counters.
The small fireman helmet has a firefighter emblem and a bottle opener on the underside. The miniature axe is marked Dixie Beer and functions as a bottle opener in the shape of a fireman’s axe. The larger fireman hat is a decorative display piece.
