Traditional Barlow pocket knife with pale bovine bone-style handle scales, metal bolster stamped BARLOW, and folding blade. The Barlow pattern is one of the classic American and English pocket knife forms, with roots going back to the 18th and 19th centuries and long popularity as an inexpensive everyday working knife.
This style was commonly carried for farm, shop, general household, camp, and utility use. The long bolster, simple handle, and single folding blade give it the familiar old general-store look associated with working pocket knives from the late 1800s through early 20th century.
