Rosso reproduction olive green pressed-glass hen-on-nest covered dish featuring detailed molded feathers, an upright tail, oval nest base, and distinctive beaded rim.
The underside is marked with an embossed R, identifying it as a Rosso-distributed piece.
This later production follows the classic Indiana-style hen-on-nest form that became popular in American pressed glass during the mid-20th century. Rosso continues to offer this traditional design in a variety of decorative glass colors.
